Deborah Powell, Founder of Cheshire Homestays
Creating memorable holidays and looking after people has been at the heart of my career for more than 20 years.
I founded my first business, a luxury villa rental company on the Algarve, in 1993. For 17 years I hand-picked beautiful homes, looked after every detail of every stay, and built genuine relationships with the guests who came back year after year. After selling the business, I spent five years planning worldwide travel for clients who wanted the same kind of personal service.
Away from Cheshire Homestays, family is at the heart of everything I do. Some of my happiest moments are spent with my little granddaughter, exploring the countryside with my dog Bailey, travelling whenever I can, and finding inspiration through beautiful interiors and special places.
Every guest matters. Every stay is personal.
